GENERAL RULES FOR ALL PARKING PATRONS

To support the positive game day environment in and around our parking lots, we ask for your help and cooperation. Michigan Event Parking reserves the right to dismiss patrons who do not abide by the Rules & Guidelines noted here.
  1. Michigan Event Parking personnel will direct and coordinate all parking. Random at-will parking of vehicles is not allowed at any time. Failure to obey will result in revoked parking privileges and immediate dismissal from the property.
  2. If you are unsatisfied with your parking arrangement, please notify a parking attendant immediately. Refunds will be issued at the discretion of Michigan Event Parking management. No refunds after kickoff.
  3. On game days with inclement or severe weather, Ann Arbor Public Schools will determine which grass areas are suitable for parking.
  4. All parking permits/tickets must be displayed in the front window and visible to our staff. Vehicles not displaying parking permits may be towed at the vehicle owners’ expense. Vehicles should be properly secured to prevent lost or stolen passes.
  5. If your pass is lost or stolen, contact Michigan Event Parking as soon as possible to report the pass as missing. After confirming your information, the missing pass will be reissued for a $25 fee.
  6. Parking Passes may not be shared, altered or reproduced in any fashion. Michigan Event Parking routinely validates authenticity of issued passes and reserves the right to revoke parking privileges without a refund.
  7. Patrons may not save parking places for other vehicles under any circumstances.
  8. You may NOT enter the parking areas prior to the times specified. Vehicles arriving early may not "stage" or wait in the front auto or RV lots without direction from parking staff. Violators may be denied parking access.
  9. Socially unacceptable behavior or disrespect toward Michigan Event Parking staff or damage to Ann Arbor Public Schools Property will not be tolerated. In such instances, you may be denied parking privileges and directed to leave the property immediately.
  10. The State of Michigan and the School Board of Ann Arbor Public Schools endorse an alcohol and tobacco free school zone.  Possession of open intoxicants, the consumption of alcoholic beverages and use of tobacco products or any illegal substance is prohibited on Ann Arbor School District property.
  11. Michigan Event Parking provides portable toilets, including handicap accessible portable toilets, at various locations throughout Pioneer grounds for use by all patrons. Portable toilets marked “private” are for private parties only. To preserve the health, safety, and welfare of our patrons, public urination and/or defecation is strictly prohibited and, if observed, will be reported to authorities.
  12. Personal portable or camping toilets are not permitted under any circumstances. Michigan Event Parking reserves the right to dismiss patrons found with these setups from the property.
  13. Pet owners must immediately pickup after their pets. All pets must be leashed and supervised.
  14. Advertising banners and signage may not be displayed, nor may promotional, fundraising or political materials be sold or distributed on the Pioneer High School site. Michigan Event Parking reserves the right to dismiss patrons found in violation of this policy.
  15. 15. You are expected to keep your parking site clean. Use the blue barrel trash receptacles provided or take your trash with you. Please report any barrel dumping to a Michigan Event Parking staff member. We need your help and cooperation in keeping the site clean and enjoyable for everyone.
  16. Open flame fires are strictly prohibited on Pioneer High School grounds. Charcoal and propane grills and heaters are permitted. No open pits or wood burning fires permitted.
  17. Red barrels are located throughout the parking lot areas are designated for charcoal. Do not discard charcoal on the grass or parking lot surfaces. If you are unable to find a red barrel to discard your used charcoal, contact a parking attendant and a barrel will be brought near your site.

MICHIGAN EVENT PARKING MAINTAINS THE SOLE RIGHT TO DETERMINE THE UTILIZATION OF ALL PARKING AREAS.

RULES FOR AUTOS

All GENERAL RULES, listed above, apply to this pass. 

  • There is no auto entry or parking on Friday nights (exceptions granted for autos accompanying RV passes).
  • Early or unauthorized entry may result in revoked parking privileges and/or vehicle towing at the owner's expense.
  • Select gates open at 6:00 a.m. on game days, unless otherwise noted. Autos may enter at Gates 1, 2 & 5 for general parking.
  • Parking spaces will be directed by parking personnel according to your gate of entry.
  • We do not allow patrons to save or reserve parking places for other vehicles.
  • All parking passes/tickets must be displayed in the front window and visible to our staff.
  • Vehicles not displaying parking permits/tickets may be towed at the vehicle owner's expense.
  • Vehicles should be properly secured to prevent lost or stolen passes.
  • AUTO HANDICAPPED parking is available at the request of all patrons with proper placards/plates. Please note handicap parking areas are limited and designated for accessible parking for Pioneer High School.
  • Small tailgate areas are permitted in auto parking areas, provided all GENERAL RULES are obeyed and setups do not interfere with emergency, parking and pedestrian aisles.

General Auto Season Pass - Rules & Guidelines

All GENERAL RULES and RULES FOR AUTOS, listed above, apply to this pass.

  • This pass allows entrance at Gates 1, 2, 5 (weather permitting). Gate opening times may vary.
  • This pass provides priority parking but does not guarantee parking in Zone F or other paved lots. These areas will be utilized by parking staff according to game day parking needs.
  • Please be sure your pass is clearly displayed for lot personnel to direct you to your parking area. Due to fraudulent pass issues, Michigan Event Parking will be required to verify all passes on arrival.
  • Vehicles not displaying parking permits may be towed at the vehicle owners’ expense.
  • Vehicles should be properly secured to prevent lost or stolen passes.
  • If your pass is lost or stolen, contact Michigan Event Parking as soon as possible to report the pass as missing. After confirming your information, the missing pass will be reissued for a $25 fee.
  • Parking Passes may not be shared, altered or reproduced in any fashion. Michigan Event Parking routinely validates authenticity of issued passes and reserves the right to revoke parking privileges without a refund
  • This pass gives priority on inclement game days when the general public is restricted from parking.

Reserved Auto Season Pass - Rules & Guidelines

  • This pass allows entrance at Gate 3 only. Entrance is staffed from gate opening until kickoff.
  • Please be sure your pass is clearly displayed for lot personnel to direct you to your assigned space. Due to fraudulent pass issues, Michigan Event Parking will be required to verify all passes on arrival.
  • You may only park in the numbered space that corresponds to your purchased pass.
  • Please notify your parking lot attendant immediately in the event that your assigned space is unavailable.
  • Vehicles not displaying parking permits may be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.
  • Vehicles should be properly secured to prevent lost or stolen passes.
  • If your pass is lost or stolen, contact Michigan Event Parking as soon as possible to report the pass as missing. After confirming your information, the missing pass will be reissued for a $25 fee.
  • Parking Passes may not be shared, altered or reproduced in any fashion. Michigan Event Parking routinely validates authenticity of issued passes and reserves the right to revoke parking privileges without a refund.

Preferred Auto Season Pass - Rules & Guidelines

  • This pass allows entrance at Gate 3 and parking in ZONE E only. Entrance is staffed from gate opening until kickoff.
  • Please be sure your pass is clearly displayed for lot personnel to direct you to your parking area. Due to fraudulent pass issues, Michigan Event Parking will be required to verify all passes on arrival.
  • Michigan Event Parking staff will direct all parking within the Preferred lot (ZONE E).
  • Michigan Event Parking reserves the right to open the Preferred lot area to game day patrons in the event that all available preferred auto season passes are not sold.
  • Vehicles not displaying parking permits may be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.
  • Vehicles should be properly secured to prevent lost or stolen passes.
  • If your pass is lost or stolen, contact Michigan Event Parking as soon as possible to report the pass as missing. After confirming your information, the missing pass will be reissued for a $25 fee.
  • Parking Passes may not be shared, altered or reproduced in any fashion. Michigan Event Parking routinely validates authenticity of issued passes and reserves the right to revoke parking privileges without a refund.

Auto Handicapped Parking - Rules & Guidelines

All GENERAL RULES and RULES FOR AUTOS, listed above, apply.

  • Handicap designated parking areas are limited and designated for accessible parking for Pioneer High School.
  • Auto Handicapped parking patrons may park in any general parking area, including Gates 1 and 2 that offer closer proximity to Michigan Stadium.
  • Auto Handicapped parking patrons requiring van accessible parking should enter at Gate 5 and request a van accessible space.
  • Handicapped parking spaces are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Parking permits/tickets sold by Michigan Event Parking AND a legal handicapped placard/plate must be visible to our staff. Vehicles not displaying the proper passes and credentials may be towed at the vehicle owner's expense.
  • There is NO shuttle service available from the Pioneer High School grounds to Michigan Stadium.

Reserved Tailgate Season Pass - Rules & Guidelines

All GENERAL RULES and RULES FOR AUTOS, listed above, apply.

  • Reserved Tailgate Season Pass holders will be issued 3 tailgate passes that correspond to their designated tailgate area.
  • Auto parking is not included with Reserved Tailgate Season passes and must be purchased separately. 3 General Auto Season Passes are recommended for full utilization of the reserved area.
  • Each Reserved Tailgate space includes a designated parking area that can accommodate up to 3 autos.
  • A Reserved Tailgate Season Pass and Auto Parking Pass must be clearly displayed for lot personnel to direct you to your parking area. Due to fraudulent pass issues, Michigan Event Parking will be required to verify all passes on arrival. Patrons may purchase a Game Day Auto Pass for vehicle parking at the gate if they did not purchase a General Auto Season Pass.
  • Vehicles not displaying both permits may be towed at the vehicle owners’ expense.
  • Michigan Event Parking reserves the right to utilize any unused or unsold auto parking spaces within the tailgate areas, as needed.
  • Vehicles should be properly secured to prevent lost or stolen passes.
  • If your pass is lost or stolen, contact Michigan Event Parking as soon as possible to report the pass as missing. After confirming your information, the missing pass will be reissued for a $25 fee.
  • Parking Passes may not be shared, altered or reproduced in any fashion. Michigan Event Parking routinely validates authenticity of issued passes and reserves the right to revoke parking privileges without a refund.
  • GENERAL RULES for open flames, portable camping toilets and trash/charcoal disposal will be strictly enforced.
  • Tailgate/tent setups must fit within the designated tailgate area.
  • Private porta-johns are available for rental on a season or single game basis. Contact Michigan Event Parking to set up your reservation.

RULES for RVs

All GENERAL RULES listed above apply.

  • The RV lot is restricted to RVs, pull behind trailers, and campers.
  • Utility trailers and additional autos are not permitted in the RV parking areas unless previously arranged with Michigan Event Parking.
  • Paid RV parking patrons must park any additional accompanying autos in an adjacent parking lot, as directed by Michigan Event Parking staff.
  • Additional accompanying autos must display a prepaid AUTO season pass or be assessed the general parking fee for autos when entering the grounds.
  • The full vehicle including awnings, expansion sides, mirrors, tables, chairs, tents, coolers etc. must stay within the parking spaces allowed.
  • All RVs running a generator are required to have exhaust extensions that reach the top of the RV.
  • Noise levels must be kept to a minimum in the evenings and early morning hours. Quiet hours will be enforced.
  • Sanitary holding tank contents MAY NOT be released on school property. Illegal discharge of waste holding tanks violates the AAPS Stormwater Management Plan and will result in a minimum $2,500 charge for cleanup costs. Call (734) 358-7275 immediately if you witness this activity.
  • Designated handicapped RV parking is not available.
  • Private porta-johns are available for rental on a season or single game basis. Contact Michigan Event Parking to set up your reservation.

  • RVs may stay until Sunday noon, unless otherwise noted.
  • All RESERVED RV SEASON PASS holders must enter at Gate 3.
  • RVs should be properly secured to prevent lost or stolen passes.
  • If your pass is lost or stolen, contact Michigan Event Parking as soon as possible to report the pass as missing. After confirming your information, the missing pass will be reissued for a $25 fee.
  • Parking Passes may not be shared, altered or reproduced in any fashion. Michigan Event Parking routinely validates authenticity of issued passes and reserves the right to revoke parking privileges without a refund.

  • Single game RESERVED RV GAME DAY passes will be sold based on availability for each individual game. Note, no physical passes will be mailed. A printed Sales Receipt or record of payment should be shown for entry.
  • Purchase of a RESERVED RV GAME DAY pass does not guarantee parking in the RV Lot (Zones D & E). Michigan Event Parking personnel will direct and coordinate all RV parking as needed to maximize available space.
  • RESERVED RV GAME DAY PASS patrons may enter on Friday evenings – entry times vary based on school events and will be posted prior to the event date. Please note these times are different than those posted for RV SEASON PASS patrons.
  • RVs may stay until Sunday noon, unless otherwise noted.
  • All RESERVED RV GAME DAY PASS patrons must enter at Gate 3 (Fridays) and Gate 5 (Saturdays).

  • Game Day General Passes are sold at Gate 3 (Friday) and Gate 5 (Saturday).
  • Purchase of a GENERAL RV GAME DAY pass does not guarantee parking in the RV Lot (Zones D & E). Michigan Event Parking personnel will direct and coordinate all RV parking as needed to maximize available space.

Reserved RV Tailgate Pass - Rules & Guidelines

  • Single game RESERVED RV TAILGATE passes will be sold based on availability for each individual game. Note, no physical passes will be mailed. A printed Sales Receipt or record of payment should be shown for entry.
  • The RV parking fee is not included as part of the RV Tailgate Pass – a Reserved RV Game Day Pass must be purchased separately.
  • RV Tailgate areas include a grass/concrete area for tailgating, along with a hard packed surface to park your RV.
  • RESERVED RV GAME DAY PASS& RV TAILGATE patrons may enter on Friday evenings – entry times vary based on school events and will be posted prior to the event date. Please note these times are different than those posted for RV SEASON PASS patrons.
  • RVs may stay until Sunday noon, unless otherwise noted.
  • All RESERVED RV TAILGATE PASS patrons will be advised of the proper gate for entry upon confirmation of pass purchase.

Hospitality Areas - Rules & Guidelines

All GENERAL RULES, listed above, apply to this pass.

For tailgate parties over 25 people, a hospitality space may be reserved on a single-game basis. Please contact Michigan Event Parking with group/event details to coordinate your reservation.

  • Hospitality reservations require payment in full at the time of reservation.
  • No refunds for Hospitality reservations
  • Hospitality reservation fees do not include parking for guests of the hospitality party.
  • Auto parking passes can be purchased, in advance, up to 30 days before the event date. These passes will be provided to the event coordinator for distribution. Alternately, hospitality guests may purchase a parking pass upon entry.
  • Guests will be parked as directed by parking personnel based on available lot space.
  • Two parking spots are made available adjacent to the site for the coordinator, caterer, etc – assessed at the General Auto Game Day Pass rate.
  • Details for Hospitality space setups must be communicated to Michigan Event Parking prior to the event date. Arrangements must be made for delivery of site materials within allowable time frames (Friday evenings and Saturday mornings). Areas must be clear by noon Sunday.
